Senior Member of Technical Staff needed by AT&T Services, Inc. in Redmond, WA to perform product design, development, testing and technical management in core network and billing systems for telecom and e-commerce applications.
Duties:
Develop new concepts, methods and techniques for cross-functional initiatives. Perform product design, development, testing and technical management in core network and billing systems for telecom and e-commerce applications. Utilize Agile Methodology, Scrum and cross-functional DevOps teams. Utilize 3GPP mobility network architecture, interfaces, reference points, and call flows. Utilize protocols such as: LDAP, GTP, SIP and Diameter including: Gx, Rx, Sd, Sy’, Sy, Gy. Perform in-depth and hands-on experience with integration and certification testing of related network elements with a focus on the Evolved Packet Core (EPC), Policy and Charging Rules Function (PCRF), Policy and Charging Enforcement Function (PCEF) and Online Charging System (OCS). Utilize knowledge of Cisco UCS B-Series HW. Perform programming with Python, Perl/Shell Scripting. Utilize LTE, MongoDB, JSON, XML, and TCP/IP. Analyze and resolve technical issues utilizing Wireshark and network traffic analyzers. Create PCRF call Flows based on requirements and standard specifications. Work on design and implementation of AT&T Dynamic traffic management mobile data solution on LTE Network. Troubleshoot complex live-network issues, root-cause analysis, formulating correction plans. Provide technical leadership for EPC VNF architecture utilizing industry standard virtualization and cloud technologies (VmWare ESXi and KVM/Openstack). Coordinate rack stack, power and cabling (OAM & BEARER) of Cisco UCS hardware. Coordinate and liaison between the vendor and the internal design, delivery and operation teams. Responsible for platform requirements, architecture, lab certification and FFA supporting the successful launch of new and innovative services.
