Human Resources Assistant
Job Description
With supervision from Human Resources Manager and indirect supervision from the Vice President of Human Resources, position is responsible for communicating, directing, and supporting internal and external Human Resources customers, and completing administrative and generalist Human Resources functions. Duties include but are not limited to: Generally serves as the first communicator and receptionist to customers of the department.Assist staff and applicants regarding applications, qualifications, and interviews. Process and screen applications and resumes according to minimum qualifications. Regular review and update applicant application system. Present qualified applications to supervisors; schedule applicant interviews. Maintain accurate applicant flow data, application filing, and retrieval system through computerized and manual systems. Complete reference and background checks of applicants.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in related field. Proficiency with computer programs, including but not limited to Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Ability to write and proofread detailed documents. Ability to ensure filing is kept in an organized and efficient manner. Ability to communicate in an effective and positive manner. Ability to multi-task. Prefer: Previous Human Resources experience.
