Clerk/Treasurer City of Algona – The City Clerk/Treasurer is responsible for the day to day financial oversight, budgeting, annual reporting, payroll, accounts payables and receivables, and is responsible for all operations pertaining to the City Finance Department, in close collaboration with the City Administrator. The Clerk/Treasurer acts as custodian of all the City’s records and files, maintains the City Seal, and functions as the clerk to the City Council, processing the timelines of the council proceedings. The City is seeking an individual who has 5 years municipal accounting experience, 3 years managerial experience with a public agency. Associate degree in accounting and CMC/MMC desired. $4,900 - $5,923 monthly DOE, full-time, 40 hours a week. Open until filled. First review is May 23rd.
