Under the direction of the Parks & Facilities Manager, plan, organize and supervise parks, facilities, and open space maintenance operations; assist in the formulation and implementation of long-range plans as well as the monitoring and enforcement of contracts.
Education and Experience:
Any combination equivalent to: Graduation from high school and five years of increasingly responsible experience maintaining buildings, facilities and landscaped areas, spraying chemical applications, maintaining and repairing irrigation systems and operating large gang mowers, including at least two years in a supervisory capacity. Vocational training, Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Parks and Recreation, Landscaping, Horticulture, Business, Public Administration, or related field desired.
Valid Washington State Public Pesticide Applicator's License and State driver's license, valid first aid and CPR certificate issued by an authorized agency.
