SUMMARY: Responsible for the overall management of the Cage Slots Operations Department while complying with all applicable company and gaming regulatory requirements. Works cooperatively with the department director.
DUTIES: Operates the CSO Department according to the department's policies and procedures, MICS, State Compact, Appendix X & X2, Tribal Internal Controls Standards and Title 31. Assists in the development of policy and procedure manuals for the department. Works with the director regarding all areas of performance management to include, hiring, training, employee evaluations, coaching and corrective action throughout the department. Responsible for staff scheduling and resolving employee disputes. Monitors the labor budget and finalizes payroll. Tracks employee training to insure timeliness in all areas. Safeguards casino assets flowing through the department. Insures accuracy of all financial data and gaming data kiosk transactions. Responsible to oversee equipment used by the department and insure it is in optimal condition. Responsible for the gaming floor layout, including machine placement, PAR assignments and machine performance. Responds to monthly and quarterly financial reports. Oversees all second party cash procurement, application and interface systems. Resolves guest disputes unresolved by Shift Manager insuring 72 hour response timeline is met for guests and employees.
QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or GED required. Business/Accounting degree/certificates are highly recommended. A minimum of five or more years of Slots, Casino Cage experience and high volume cash handling required. A minimum of three to five years of supervisory/management experience required.
