RISK MANAGEREmerald Queen Hotel & Casino
This position is responsible for managing and identifying risk exposures for the casino through insurance, contract review and negotiation, litigation management and strategic planning. Duties include indentifying risk exposure by performing ongoing review if casino operations as to frequency and potential severity of risk, making recommendations to mitigate identified such risks, review, purchase and update casino property & casualty insurance policies, management of all insurance claims excluding workers compensation. Additional duties include provisions of vendor contracts, investigate incidents that may result in asset loss, review, analyze and distribute claims data to management and actively participate on committees related to risk management and quality improvement. Performs additional job duties as assigned by the department manager.
We are in search of a seasoned Risk Manager who can contribute their expertise and knowledge to the continued success of our organization.
Qualified candidates will possess:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Risk Management or related field
- Seven years experience in Risk Management or commercial insurance (required)
- Casino or hospitality experience (preferred)
- Additional education or related experience may substitute for the minimum requirements of this position
