Job Description - Overview


Hobby Lobby Stores is a privately held corporation that is looking for a bright, talented, and motivated individual to work as a Full-Time Import Team Clerk. The duties and responsibilities of this position may vary according to the needs of the department.

We are looking for candidates who enjoy a fast-paced environment and have a desire to grow within the company.

Function:

  • Reviewing and approving vendor documents for payment
  • Correspond with vendors both overseas and domestic
  • Data entry
  • Detailed and organized 
  • Works independently and as part of a team
  • Multi-task – Will learn a variety of duties
  • Assist other staff members as needed

Job Description - Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Proficiency in MS Office – Excel, Access Outlook, Windows, Adobe Acrobat
  • Ability to utilize office equipment, such as fax machines, copiers, and scanners
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize workflow and meet deadlines
  • Must possess exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions, regulations, and memos
  • Strong problem-solving skills
Education and/or Experience:
  • High school diploma or general education degree
  • Clerical experience 1 year minimum
