This position is responsible for performing technical tasks involving contract administration and compliance for public works construction projects. Schedules pre-construction meetings, reviews certified payrolls, prepares statement of working days, ensures compliance with prevailing wage standards, intent to pay and affidavit of wages paid, reviews equipment rates and prepares force account reports, and prepares monthly project pay estimates for construction projects. In addition, the position is responsible for contract compliance with all Federal Aid and WSDOT Requirements.
Required Education and Experience
-High School Diploma or GED; AND
-Three (3) years experience in roadway, bridge and/or utility construction contract administration; AND
-Two (2) years of experience working in an office environment utilizing Microsoft Word and Excel doing computer database entry and paper filing system.
Preferred Education and Experience -Two (2) years experience administrating construction contracts which includes working knowledge of pay estimates, Federal highway projects and disadvantaged business requirements.
-Previous contract compliance monitoring of Public Works projects.
-Experience working with WSDOT related to inspection and construction.
