Lakehaven Water and Sewer District has an immediate opening for an Engineering Technician – GIS/CAD in the Engineering Department.
ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN III – GIS/CAD: Salary Range: $37.23 – $48.43/hour
ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN IV –GIS/CAD - LEAD: Salary Range: $39.09 - $50.82/hour
Lakehaven Water and Sewer District is seeking an experienced Engineering Technician to manage the District’s record drawings, maps, exhibits, and tasks or projects while creating, maintaining, and analyzing geospatial and tabular geographic information system (GIS) data and metadata. This role includes serving as the District's technical resource for and coordinating with all District departments, sections and senior management, external agencies, consultants, engineers, and others on plan preparation, facility record and data management, computer-aided-drafting (CAD) and GIS; and keeping current with regulations, standards, related technologies, and accepted best practices pertaining to the District’s CAD and GIS. This is an experienced level position. The ideal applicant will demonstrate effective communications skills and technical expertise in engineering related work, contract plan preparation, CAD, GIS, and performance of technical tasks and projects for the District.
Position placement and pay is dependent upon experience and qualifications.
