Network Administrator
Salary Range: $41.40 - $53.83/hour
As a Lakehaven Network Administrator, you will be part of a team that has been recognized by the
National Association of Clean Water Agencies for its environmental stewardship and has been a long-
standing member of the American Water Works Association. Lakehaven has a service area population
of over 135,000 people living across a 35 square mile area in south King County, makings us the second
largest special-purpose water and sewer district in the state. Our water system includes 450 miles of
water mains, 25 active wells, and 12 storage tanks, which allows us to meet a current annual average
water demand of 10 million gallons per day (MGD) from the community. Lakehaven also has 2
wastewater treatment plants, 27 sewer lift stations, and 350 miles of sewer mains capable of collecting
and treating up to 15.6 MGD. Our employees work hard to produce and treat high quality drinking
water and to ensure treated wastewater adheres to EPA standards, which safeguards the local

As a Network Administrator, you will be responsible for the security, reliability, and performance of the
District’s Information Technology environment, including analyzing, operating, administering,
maintaining, testing, and implementing the network interconnections of devices, systems, and/or
communication services to meet the functional objectives of the Enterprise. You will also administer
changes and maintain documentation for the District phone and voicemail systems as well as developing
small and medium desktop solutions to meet end user functional requirements using Microsoft desktop
tools. Additionally, this position is responsible for installing, upgrading, and troubleshooting desktop
software and operating systems.
The successful candidate should have some combination of the following:
Minimum two (2) year degree from a Community College in Computer Science or a closely
related field.
Minimum of two (2) years of increasingly responsible professional experience in network
administration (to include one year of Windows Server administration) and
One (1) year experience as a PC Technician or one (1) year experience developing small and
medium desktop solutions using Microsoft desktop tools, such as, Word, Excel, and Access
OR a minimum of one (1) year of increasingly responsible professional experience in network
administration, two (2) years’ experience as a PC Technician, and one (1) year experience
developing small and medium desktop solutions using Microsoft desktop tools, such as Word,
Excel, and Access.
