JOB SUMMARY:
Provides professional physical therapy services to OMC patients. Conduct is consistent with the Washington State professional practice act for physical therapy as well as OMC’s policies and procedures. Organizes and conducts medically prescribed programs to restore function, prevent disability and help each patient reach their maximum performance. Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and is able to assess data reflective of the patient’s status. Interprets the patient data in order to develop a treatment plan and provide the care needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education
Minimum of B.S. from a program accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).Advanced degree or training strongly preferred.
Experience
Strong interest in meeting the varied needs of our community ranging fromoutpatient orthopedics, neurology, sports medicine, industrial medicine/ergonomics, swelling disorders, geriatrics, or acute care.
Licensure/Credentials
Must be licensed as a Physical Therapist in the State of Washington; Current BLS certification; valid Washington driver's license; proof of insurance on automobile used for work; reliable automobile transportation to travel to patient residences; driving record in compliance with OMC standards currently in effect or as may be amended. See HR Policy 3.12 Driving for OMC Business; must have a cell phone with activated voicemail (portion of cost reimbursed by OMHH); must have computer internet connectivity (OMHH work laptop provided).
