We are recruiting for an Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) Administrator to step into this brand new role within the Maintenance Department in Lakewood.

There is nothing more important than ensuring our fleet and facilities are maintained to higher standards of excellence. This role has been established to ensure we stay right on track.
Reporting to the Fleet manager, the EAM Administrator will ensure our best practices and procedures are accurately documented within the maintenance software. The selected candidate will manage the overall maintenance and repairs of the Agency's Fleet and Facilities assets to ensure maximum reliability and efficiencies are attained.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills as related to system management and also be a great communicator. Some of the important functions of this role will include:
- Managing, tracking and recording all repair work orders for Fleet, Facilities, Radio and Warehouse functions;
- Documenting, managing and reporting on maintenance schedules;
- Collaborating, coordinating and acting as liaison with IT department;
- Analyzing historical maintenance records to make data-driven recommendations and decisions to improve shop performance;
- Preparing to fill the role of key stakeholder during the evaluation of future software.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
Must be open to working shifts other than day shift to meet operation requirements.
Essential Functions

- Functions as the subject matter expert and technical resource for the EAM system; enters and updates information, troubleshoots, assigns security for users, and monitors system performance.
- Provides critical system analysis, including expertise and support with testing, debugging, and enhancements to the system. Provides analytical support and training to end users; maintains documentation and training materials for each enhancement.
- Participates with internal work teams and task force, communicates with consultants to troubleshoot issues, resolve problems, streamline operations, create process improvements, and prepare updated documentation resulting from changing requirements.
- Assists in supporting field and acceptance tests to system upgrades/patches before implementation; gathers department requirements for new or enhanced application software features; configures and implements new services as necessary.
- Creates, maintains and runs queries for reports and statistical analysis; supplies information to internal and external auditors for public disclosure requests.
- Serves as liaison between Information Technology and Fleet Maintenance to ensure department needs are effectively communicated.
- Maintains accountability for asset maintenance; ensuring reliability, maximizing the service life of equipment, and preventing unscheduled downtime.
- Researches and recommends innovative approaches to system administration tasks. Identifies methods to leverage resources and minimize maintenance operation costs.
- Demonstrates regular and reliable attendance.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Knowledge of and skill in applying:
- Applicable federal, state and local laws, rules and regulations;
- Workflows and interfaces with other systems;
- Statistical analysis and theory;
- Preventative maintenance operations to include project specific vehicle components and data;
- Databases and reporting principles;
- Recordkeeping principles and procedures;
- Report and document writing techniques;
- Project management principles; and
- Modern office equipment.
Skill in and ability to:
- Interpreting and applying federal, state and local laws and regulations;
- Preparing reports, presentations, training materials; and/or other related documentation and correspondence;
- Analyzing and interpreting statistical and operational data and/or other relevant information and developing recommendations based on findings;
- Analyzing historical maintenance data trending;
- Conducting research, planning and organizing workload to meet changing priorities and deadlines;
- Utilizing a computer and relevant software applications; and
- Maintaining effective working relationships.
Required:
- Associate's Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field and
- Three years of progressive and responsible experience within a maintenance or facilities record keeping system.

- An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above.
Desired:
- Work order and/or asset management systems experience
- Maintenance software and Paperless Shop modules experience to support real time performance management.
