Pierce Transit is conducting a national search for a seasoned and high performing leader with proven success in program management to serve as the next Finance Manager at our headquarters located in Lakewood.

Reporting to the Executive Director of Finance/Chief Financial Officer, this position leads in the development of departmental goals and objectives; oversees a staff of 16 individuals in Payroll, Accounting, Budget, and Data Analytics and is also responsible for:
- Monitoring financial accounting and reporting, payroll, auditing, internal control, revenue collection, budget development, data warehouse/analytics, as well as other related finance functions;
- Providing oversight and evaluating service delivery methods and business processes, assessing and monitoring work loads, direct and implement process improvements as opportunities arise;
- Preparing, reviewing and presenting reports, analysis, informational updates and special projects as assigned;
Attending and participating in professional group meetings and stay abreast of trends, technology, and innovations in the fields of Finance, Budget, and Accounting as related to the role.
