Puget Sound Educational Service District seeks an Expanded Learning Program Site Coordinator to develop, implement and support the extended-day academic, enrichment and family program in the Kent School District. The Expanded Learning Program provides academic and academically focused enrichment activities such as computer and digital photography clubs; math, science and reading clubs; team and leadership building activities; music, drama, and art programs; and much more during before and after school program. Expanded Learning Program links families to local resources for food, housing, health, family safety, employment, and aid in supporting children’s school success. As part of School Reform in Washington State, these services help to level the playing field, so that all children can reach state standards.

Minimum Qualifications
- BA/BS degree in Education, Psychology, Social Work, Administration, or related area
- AA/AAS in related area, and progressively responsible job-related experience may substitute for BA degree
- Job-related experience working with K-12 children and their families in traditional and/or expanded educational programs (before/after school settings)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with low-income children and families, and/or those from diverse cultures is preferred.
- Supervisory or managerial experience is a plus.

Job Type: School Schedule (7hrs/day, 198 days/year or approx. 1,386 hours per year)
Salary: $27.33 – $31.69 hourly (Salary Band E)
