Victim Services Advocate (Statewide)
The CT Judicial Branch Office of Victim Services is accepting applications for the position of Victim Services Advocate.
The qualified individuals will be performing a full range of tasks in providing information, assistance and advocacy to victims and witnesses of crimes and their families.
Starting salary $68,157 – plus benefits.
Minimum Qualifications: Six years of experience providing direct services to crime victims in crisis intervention, criminal justice, or a human services field. One year of the experience must have included providing victim advocacy. College training in criminal justice, social work or a related field may be substituted to a maximum of four years for a Bachelor's degree. A Master's degree in a human service or criminal justice field or a law degree may be substituted for one additional year of the experience. In-state travel required. Spanish speaking preferred.
