Grant Financial Administrator
The Graduate School at Emporia State University invites applications for the position of Grant Financial Administrator to begin June 18, 2018. The Grant Financial Administrator reports to the Dean of the Graduate School and works closely with faculty, staff, and students at the ESU main campus.
Duties:
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Educating faculty and staff with grant opportunities, and assisting applicants with grant development
- Oversight of post-award grant and contract administration
- Management of grant overhead to provide seed money for grant development, and to promote undergraduate and graduate student research
- Coordination of student research showcases and direction of campus-wide oversight committees, including the Institutional Research Board and the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field; master’s preferred
- At least two-years of related professional experience in a university/research environment
- Knowledge of federal compliance regulations
