Job Duties
The Retirement Coordinator assumes an important role on the Benefits team. The Coordinator will provide retirement and benefit support for all the University Health System employees.
The Coordinator prepares retirement calculations, conducts retirement meetings, processes and audits retirement reports.
This professional will also maintain a working knowledge of applicable laws to include IRS limits pertaining to retirement plans.
Assists in benefit plan reviews, employee benefit enrollment and health reform regulations.
Experience/Educational Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, or a related field is required.
- Candidates must have two years of recent experience in benefits with a focus of retirement.
- Must have experience administering or providing service for 457 plans, 401k's or pension plans.
- PC and Windows experience to include spreadsheets, database management and Word processing competence is a must.
