The University of Lynchburg is seeking a Videographer to work in its Communications & Marketing department. The Videographer will be responsible for all aspects of video production including meeting with constituents to determine their communications needs, developing concepts and script content, and shooting and editing to produce videos that serve client needs and reinforce the Lynchburg brand to internal and external audiences.
Must have a Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited university or college, or a relevant industry certification, or a combination of education and experience may be substituted. Must have three to five years of experience operating SLRs (single lens reflex), video cameras, sound recording equipment, composing sequential shots, editing; proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Photoshop, and professional video editing software (Avid, Lightworks, Premiere, After Effects, and Final Cut Pro); experience with digital workflows for images and videos; knowledge of live streaming platforms such as Limelight, YouTube, Google+ Hangouts; and knowledge of best practices for use of video, broadcast production techniques and standards, proper file storage and archiving.
