The Washington Schools Risk Management Pool seeks a Claims Consultant to manage complex litigated and non-litigated property/casualty claims for member school districts. Other duties include collaborating with other departments for prevention and training issues and developing and providing claims-based training to member districts in school board meetings.
PSESD is one of nine regional educational agencies serving school districts, charter schools, and state-approved private schools in Washington. Educational Service Districts, created by the legislature, are an essential regional delivery system for early learning and K-12 services in the state. Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree in related field;
Property/casualty claims experience;
Experience handling litigated claims;
Experience with claims tracking and word processing systems;
Preferred Qualifications (Cover letter should specifically address any experience meeting the preferred qualifications)
Commercial Lines claims experience;
SCLA, CPCU, and/or AIC designations;
Experience working in the field;
Ability to write an estimate of damages.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $68,697-$79,667/year (Band J).
