Washington State University seeks detail-oriented, skilled Business Systems Analysts for WSU’s Finance, Payroll, and Human Resource Modernization Initiative.
Incumbents play a pivotal role in analyzing, monitoring, and implementing process improvement initiatives, which includes preparation for the implementation of enterprise software for finance, payroll, and human resources. Duties include project management, recommending process improvement, data identification and analysis for moving to a new enterprise system, and preparing personnel for new systems and updates.
The incumbent must use critical judgment to interpret and apply rules and regulations, as well as State and University policies. The incumbent is a self-motivated individual who works well independently with little supervision. The incumbent serves as an expert resource for department customers on policies, procedures, and best practices related to their finance, payroll, and/or human resources specialty area.
The modernization initiative is an evolving project where all team members are expected to be hands on in the day-to-day activities. All team members are expected to be able to tolerate high levels of change, juggle competing priorities, request and accept work assignments from a variety of individuals.
Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience
